Hailing from Sacramento, McKensie Rummel completed her classical training at the Portland Actors Conservatory in association with Artists Repertory Theater in Portland, OR. She began her career in theater throughout the PNW, and now splits her time between LA and NYC working primarily in independent film.

Her first feature, Hetero, debuted at the Seattle Queer Film Festival, Portland International Film Festival, and NewFest in NYC. She is currently excited for the release of Crossroads, a short film she wrote, slated for March 2026.
